Korel Yıldız was born in 2000 in Istanbul. He had an interest in sports since his childhood. He was involved in many sports, such as swimming, basketball, football, and so on. He was always looking for new sports to deal with. He also met with fencing in this quest. When he went to his cousin, he liked to play with his cousin's Fencing gun. His family, who saw this interest, introduced him to Gabriela Dumitru. Gabriela Dumitru, who measured the reaction time of Korel, a 7-year-old active boy, said that Korel has potential and can be successful in this sport. Korel, who has continued to love Fencing since then, completed his assistant coaching trainings in 2019 to learn this sport in all aspects.
